Hubcentric Wheel Spacers: for Vehicles Which use Nuts

Designed for track widening from 30mm to 150mm overall. These DesignTek wheel spacers are made in 15mm to 75mm thick and are very easy to install on your car. As this system has new wheel studs incorporated in the wheel spacer you do not need to replace your existing wheel studs so it’s a quick and easy way to enhance the look of your car. You can use your existing wheel nuts and locking wheel nuts. This system is hubcentric and has the raised hub centering lip.

Can these be used on cars which use wheel BOLTS ?

Yes you can use this type of wheel spacers on cars which use wheel bolts like Porsche Boxster, 996, 997, Panamera and Cayenne, you will need to use the factory bolts to bolt wheel spacers to the wheel hub and then place the wheels over the new wheel studs that are stick out. Use the ½ type wheel nuts to secure your wheels.  If you are extending the wheel out less than 15mm we offer another BOLT on system which is detailed below.

Hubcentric Wheel Spacers: for Vehicles Which use Bolts

Designed for track widening from 6mm to 30mm overall. These DesignTek wheel spacers are made in 3mm to 15mm thick and are very easy to install on your car. This system does not include longer wheel bolts, these have to be purchased separately. In order to calculate the length of the new bolts which you have to purchase please add the thickness of the wheel spacer to the length of you original wheel bolt. Remember to measure from the bolt seating to the end of bolt and add the spacer thickness to get the total length of your new bolts.

This system is hubcentric and has the raised hub centering lip where available, please contact us for further information.

How to Measure For Wheel Spacers ?

DTMeasure

1. Tools you need

To properly measure your wheel gap you will need a few simple tools:

• Measuring device with millimetre units

• Straight edge – Yard stick or similar

2. Check Your Gap

a. Place a straight edge flush with the face of the wheel and tire combination. Make sure the straight edge touches the tire in two spots to keep the straight edge even with the tire.

b. Use the measuring device to measure from the inside of the straight edge to the inner fender lip. (see diagram)

c. Make sure that the measurement is taken at the point where the wheel and tire is closest to the fender. For instance, on a car with a large amount of negative camber the tire and wheel may be closest at the front or rear edge of the fender.
